What are the Basic Terms of Sale?
Answer:
PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IT IS BUYING THE MATERIAL "AS IS, WHERE IS. "  THERE ARE NO EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR PROSPECTIVE WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT THAT MIDWEST GENERATION, LLC. WARRANTS THAT IT HAS TITLE TO THE EQUIPMENT AND/OR HAS THE RIGHT TO SELL IT TO PURCHASER.

The Buyer is responsible to obtain labor as needed to remove the purchased items. There is no specific requirement by Midwest Generation to use union or non-union labor. Installed equipment must be removed by a contractor that has met the indemnification and insurance requirements.

Bidders are responsible for handling and transportation costs and coordination from the Collins Station.

What is the Bidding Procedure?
Answer:
Download the Midwest Generation General Terms & Conditions from this wedbsite (Click the 'Flashpaper' icon under 'New Projects.')

Print the five page document. Review and sign the top portion of the last page if acceptable. Fax copy of all 5 pages, including signature, to (815) 942-4785. Mail a 'hard copy' of the signed, 5-page document to the Collins Station at the address below.

Offers may be submitted in writing by email, postal mail, messenger, or facsimile. Electronic files are preferred for detailed listings.

Offers must be valid for a period of 90 days.
Decisions to award will be evaluated on a weekly basis.
Successful bidders will be notified of the award. Midwest Generation, LLC will issue a Sales Order / Invoice to the awardee.

What are the insurance requirements?
Answer:
Minimum insurance coverage is detailed in Article 18.0 of the General Terms & Conditions. An original Acord Form 25 "Certificate of Insurance" with "Midwest Generation, LLC" named as "additional insured" must be sent to:
